Travelling in Spain

Traveling through Spain at the port of Balboa, I was surprised to see the landscape changing. The land changed every few miles. With many places to invite you for a drink along the road; These are probably welcome in the heat of summer, but it is now spring and the roads are pretty deserted. I wonder how a life in winter.

We left the flat landscape of San Pedro del Pinatar where the coastal sand on the Mar Menor and the shallow waters of the hinterland of the sea. We spent a succession of mountainous areas that were-were very picturesque, some covered with dense forests, but as we approached the coast of the land became greener with more trees and more like England, with rapeseed fields.

Then pull Balboa ferry we enjoyed the last few hours on Spanish soil. That was the end of winter in the sun until the fall, when we got home in Spain.
